Highest Value Knife Today?

SYKCO 311...the whole line for that matter. They're knives that your great grand children will be abusing and they'll still be going strong.

My wish list just grew by one.

Ganzo G704. G10 scales, Axis lock, 440c blade for 14$. This knife can take ludicrous amounts of abuse and performs way beyond what I'd expect for a 14$ knife. Check out this review.

I would say a Tenacious and Para 2. I think you get a really high quality knife for the money in the Para 2 and the Tenacious

For value for the dollar, I would say a Rat-1 has got to be up there with the best.

It's hard to trump a Spyderco Para 2 for less than $100 from Cutlery Shoppe or Howes.

When you can get a Black G10 or Digi Camo P2 with well HT'ed S30V, a Compression Lock, nested liners, a 4-way clip option, light weight carry, a narrow pocket foot print, extremely smooth action, solid lockup and simply put, a Spyderco, made in the USA for less than $100 you are hard pressed to beat that IMHO. The P2 is a really good overall EDC in just about all respects as far as I'm concerned. Not only does it give you everything I mentioned above but it also satisfies that pocket jewelry itch for all but the snobbiest of knife lovers or Spyderco haters too. It has a lot going for it.

Close seconds are the Kershaw Zing and the RAT-1 Folder.

Definitelly the mighty Opinel.

Hard to beat the prize and the quality.

Kind regards

Hard to say what the absolute best value knife is with all the choices out there but the $32 I spent for my Spyderco Tenacious is the best $32 I've ever spent on a knife.

Bought one last December. SWMBO found it. Haven't seen it since. I remember it was a good knife. ;)

Like a lot of folks say, condor, mora...esee, swamp rat and the new scrap yard 411 looks to be a lot of knife for the money.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Kershaw Cryo yet. I don't own one personally yet, but from everything I have seen they should be very near the top of the "bang for buck" list.

Pretty much all the $20 or less knives sold by trusted manufacturers are high value. There's dozens of them, both fixed blades and folders.

On the lower end i would say the Kershaw Leek. I don't think any other knife gives you as much choice for around $30. Handle color, coated or uncoated blade, serrated or not, its all up to you.

On the higher end though, nothing can touch the Gayle Bradley.

+1 On Gayle Bradley.

CF + M4 + Superb build-up at 140$... What more do you want??
