Higonokami style but with a hidden spring. It is not a friction folder since the spring holds the blade open and closed but not as snappy as a slipjoint. One handed opening with the tang and a little practice.

Blade is 3/32 ATS 34 brushed bevels and flats textured.
Handle is 16ga. bronze textured with a chasing tool.
Sterling silver washers
308 domed pivot

Blade is 3"
Closed 3 1/2"
Open 6"

$330 this knife is now sold thank you all.

Thanks for looking

Wow. Sorry to "chat," but this is one of the coolest things I've seen on here in a while. The size and shape are perfect. I'd love to see more stuff like this around here, and really hope you keep making these (especially once I get enough pocket change saved back up to purchase one). The texturing on the handle and blade flats is brilliant and beautiful as well.

No the butt is not closed on this one.

It is always great to get feedback. Thanks for the compliments.

Love the lines and blade geometry!

This patterns reminds me of a modern interpretation of a kozuka gokatana. Not that you need it but you could look at kozuka handles for even more inspiration.
