TOP 3 ARE NOT MINE(SIEGLE AND BRIAN GOODE MODELS) BELONG TO A FRIEND WHO ALLOWED ME TO TEST THEM.

THEN A RANGER TFI -I HAVE ON PASSAROUND

THE BOTTOM ONE IS MINE--MATT LAMEY ..JUST GOT IT

--I LOVE THE SIEGLE GRIP(BUT NOT THE GRIP GROOVES)--VERY SECURE AND SHARP AS MY EX WIFES TONGUE.

TRY AS I DID--I COULD NOT WARM UP TO THE BRIAN GOODE HANDLE(SHARP AS A LASER BEAM--BUT MY HANDS DID NOT LIKE IT)

Great pics. I used to have the exact same model Goode. Great knife, but as you said, the scales could have been a bit wider to fit my large hands.

Great looking dog! I like the small knife the best-very handy for soooo many uses.
 
I do like the look of that Lamey. I really dislike that the name stamp looks well pissed but that's not a performance issue, the design seems like a real winner.

Good looking dog. I was brought up with those and even my first long dog had a good amount of GS in her. I have a weakness for smart dogs.

I agree :) I think that is one of the designs that is better in a smaller "Companion" size knife. I need to put that blade shape on a different handle shape and see what we get :)

I apreciate your honesty and it helps me recomend better knives in the future :thumbup:
 
not totally enjoying that handle in a larger size than the Companion made me come up with a more simple pattern such as the top knife in this picture. Handle isnt shaped of course.

Again--my dislike of the handle was just that.(mine)

The owner of the knife is very happy with it...

The praise I see for your knives on this forum is very well deserved Brian--your level of workmanship is proof you care about what leaves your shop..
