Hike, new pack and knife. Lots of pics

Thats a sweet pack for $20 even without a bladder.

Definitely. Especially considering it was originally an $80 pack. I usually spend my money on knives and am cheap when it comes to other gear, so I like bargains.

Great pics T:thumbup: Course you knew that already. The country side out there looks amazing:eek: I need to find my way out west sometime. The terrain around here is rather bla:thumbdn:

Glad you had a chance to use your new knife.

Nick:)

Thanks man. There are a lot of things I don't like about living in California, especially within LA county. But having a short drive to the beach or mountains is pretty cool. If people saw how quickly you can go from the urban jungle to some beautiful forests, they wouldn't believe that was possible anywhere near Los Angeles!

Great pics buddy and the knife looks like a winner to me !

Gerber now make some half decent stuff eh, they used to have a bit of a bad rep but I've been impressed with quite a bit of their gear just lately !

Did ya see any wildlife on the hike ?

Yeah we are done with the rain and coming into some warm weather, saw a bunch of cottontails and ground squirrels darting around. By next month the rattlers will be out. I love watching the snakes, from a distance though.
