Hike: Pic Heavy But Worth It...I Think !

Went on one of my more difficult hikes today, set off in rain but finished in sunshine !

The trail was like an obstacle course all the way up !

Here I am blowing like a loco, ya soon warm up on this trail......

At last a level section, I have been training Snicker ( T.T ) to return when I blow my Jet Scream whistle........

Incase ya wondering what knife I took it was my Swampwarden, I tried to travel light today......

Near the top I bumped into these pretty girls, well actually it was T.T who decided to jump all over them ! They didn't know what a Scandi Grind was and had never heard of Horace Kephart so I went on my way !!!!:D

We soon arrived at the highest spot, TT got there first !

At the top there is this large body of water, here is a pic I took of the reflection in the water......

This was where I stopped to drink my tea. While having my tea I noticed these guys swimming around in the water, they are either Newts or Salamanders.....

I was out of breath just looking at them!!

Those are one of those hikes where you really appreciate the view and the walk down!
 
Hey Pit, not that I don't love the threads of your hikes, but umm, do you have a job? LOL

Man I wish I had half the energy of a puppy.
 
Wow, what wonderful pics! Great view, and the TT seems to like it as well as Maisy!
 
Looks like a sweet hike! I really like that pic of Snicker coming back at a run-makes me really hope I land a job that doesn't entail travel, so I can get a dog:)

Wait, with two dogs you had an automatic in, and you went on your way?! You better show this one to your wife so she can see what a devoted guy you are, or stupid, let her decide which.;)

Great pics as always, I would say the hike was worth it, even without the girls.
