Cool bag

Alright, for the gear whores, what kind of bag is this?

Tabasco Lamp C made.

Now I know why Tobasco gives me a case of fartburn! :D

Those sheaths look great.

Koyote's work, these, the bushcraft, the Leukus. I really like it. I like his style.

Looks like Jake and I have competition for best forum duo! Haha.

That little lamp is cool. What kind of fuel does it use?

I have a flint and striker but really suck at using it. When I hit it hard enough to get a good spark, it always chips the flint. Looks like Christian has it down.

You guys had a nice thread!

Ha! I thought the same thing! Chriistian needs to get his butt to peru in June.

Great pics Ruben. C has great blades.

Oh come now, its not like C. and bear cuddled together in side-by-each hammocks or anything :D

Doc - I love that EWOK too

Those Koyote's neckers/PSK blades are pretty neat. The more I see them the more I like them. I bet some paracord wrap would be more comfy than that heavy braid though.

Great pictures and nice thread. I was LMOA on the trolly cart dig.

A lot of people seem to like the EWOK, but there are only 2 in existance, Rescueriley`s and C Bryants. It makes a nice thin (3/32") cutter.

What can I say? We did what we had to do to stay warm. :D:D

BTW that Maratac bag is a pretty good deal. The zipper on mine sucks but they are cheap and great to fill with goodies and stash someplace.

Yeah it is a hell of a bag for 20 bucks. My zipper is fine, but the flap that covers the zipper kinda gets in the way when closing it. I really like it, good little bag.

Snow, the fuel for the tabasco lamp/candle is just lamp oil from the craft store.

From what I have been able to figure out, aside from your steel striker having a good heat treat to throw lots of sparks and using a good piece of flint that will give you lots of sparks, it is not about how hard you strike the flint. It is about how fast the steel is moving. You don't have to bash the steel in to the flint, but get a good swing going and just graze it. Make sure you have a good sharp edge on the flint to strike. I will also use my steel and wack the flint purposely to break bits off to get a sharp edge. Took me quite some time to get it right.

That is so wrong.:rolleyes::D:D

Thats what survival is about, adapting to the enviroment.:D

C, those pictures came out good! The second to last picture is the continuation of the one I took of you "looking for the right shot."

You gave away my secret to pics, a kephart omnipod.

Kephart omnipod, sounds like a good way to market it for increased sales!

looks like you boys had a great time. Alot of nice steel in those pics, and CBriant is quite the sheath maker I see. Great work!

J and Snow, don't worry. I still think you two make the best WSS COUPLE.... oh I mean DUO:rolleyes: :D
