Doc that's a hornets nest, bad juju man...it's good thing Zeus wasn't catching them that could've been a bad scene...great pics!

I wish I could get out, hurt my knee on Monday and its been all ice, heat and immobilizing for the week.

Looks like European hornets to me (but hornets are wasps I believe)....I see lots of them around here, but never seen one of their nests.
