The pictures do not capture the pins design/color. I like that you are doing more flat grind knives with satin finish.

I think the color of the sheath goes very well with the micarta, but black would have also been another good choice.

I would also like to know why you like that handle design for your knives? It tends to be your signature handle of sorts, which is a compliment.

Deano , I agree with you on the pics and pin which is why I tried to describe it , I don't have a light box and my pics are done outdoors since it is winter I don't have the sunlight as I use to . 2nd time you mentioned my handle design, I remembered , so I squared off the end of this handle some .As far as the front goes , it incorporates a somewhat guard to keep your hand from sliding over the blade . Hell, I don't know , it feels comfortable to me .

thank you all for looking and taking the time to write your nice comments . I appreciate it and pay attention to them all.

Function follows form in my opinion and that is one nice piece of work. Wish I had the cash on hand!

Thanks Jack, i just measured a few of my FBs that feel right. right on 1/2" or even a hair less. so this knife should be fine for me.
but i am still "thinking".

Jack,

A winner; I love the blade shape it looks very useful, almost quick. And you know I like a guard...for the reason you stated...and choil. DeanoD sounds like he knows what he's talking about; it does look like your signature handle, not just the butt end but the way you sweep the front at the guard. If you were not in the process of making one for me now I'd try to beat roland to the punch...;)

Form and Function Jack, you've nailed it again. The lines and components compliment each other. You don't have to pick it up to feel it lay in your hand. Great work.

Paid ! thanks Jack, i'm looking forward to goin' out and cuttin' stuff.
i see this as a "utility" knife with a very useful blade profile. a great "partner" to my current "stubby" utility.
"utility" = pretty well does any cutting chore you want it to.
an under-rated "class" of knives.
