  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Hiking,Firemaking etc !!!

Man I don't have a clue, I cut them outta an old wheel that was left locked to a post( Hope the person hadn't planned on coming back for it,LOL !) it just stretched round an altoids tin !!!!

So that's what happened to my wheel:D

Thanks for the great pics as usual Pit. You make me wish I lived up there.

Good to see Maisy doin so well.

Folks always think the stuff I carry in my pockets is weird too. But I'm always prepared to start a fire, and build a shelter if I need.

great pics as usual Pit... i'm glad to see Maisy girl is up and running again.. i'm sure she was getting a little stir crazy not being able to tromp in the woods...:)

Good to see that Maisy has mended up well.
Nice shots of the Island too. I sure miss being down there.
Thanks for the great pictures Pit.

Cheers

Pit - I always look forward to your photo narrations and adventures. Great stuff amigo! Also glad to hear Maisy is back at her game!! She is looking great.

Okay here's a 100 point question for those of you who "gotta ID the flora"! What kind of tree(s) are those at the edge of the water that are not evergreen. They have the flaky looking bark. Pitdog & Doc it isn't fair if you answer...but for those who do not live around here may not have ever seen this tree before - perhaps?

Refer to Pit's photos...second from the bottom on page 1 and a better shot is #7 from the top of the OP...the photo showing Maisy at the grassy knoll and the boot going across the water.

If you get this one right away then I'll have you look at another one that is unique.
