hiking hawk

Here is something a little different. I made this walking stick out of a 33" piece of Ash and gave it a true oil finish. Poured pewter tip and razor sharp hawk head for a handle. Nice fitted head cover protects the head and the hand. More pic's tomorrow when the sun comes out.

Very nice Louis! :thumbup: That gives me some food for thought on that ball pein head I want to send you. I meant to send it after we talked, but I just haven't come up with a design that's different that really appealed to me.
I really like this concept, as I do a lot of hiking/walking & something like this would be slick to take along.
