Hiking or Day kit

Thanks for the good comments guys..I really like the simplicity of this kit,just sling it and go and has alot of basic items.... some items are duplicated lights & fire starters , I may delete the swiss army light since I aquired the Inova light...I have a RED Photon & White ones as well.
if there is room I'll stuff something in a pocket LOL

Really? I have an order in to them right now that the PO has apparently lost somewhere. What is the attachment to the Maxbag? I didn't realize the Diplomats had MOLLE on them. I really like the Diplomat pouch and most of everything else I find on their website. :)

the 12X5 has been discontinued, but there are still some out there available for sale if you look. ;)
 
Those Diplomat Organizers from Countycomm are great for the price; I've carried one on the outside of my Countycomm EOD bag for a long time.

This thread along with the other one in the WSS forum got me thinking about these Maxpedition bottle holders...I may have to upgrade from my Finnish gas mask bag...
 
That looks awesome! Wheres the best place to get pne of those filters for the Nalgene bottle? I need one.

Very nice, Tony. I have a similar rig based on the same Maxpedition bottle carrier with a similar number of MOLLE pouches. It is a great grab-and-go kit when there isn't time to mess with a more substantial BOB. I keep mine in my truck, always within arms reach.
 
Great kit Tony - any chance (I know it's a PITA) of a list of the whole lash-up? I always wonder what I've left out of mine! :D
 
My PSK evolves all the time... 1st I started w/ maxpedition 10x4 Nalgene holder , RC5,max.siingle knife pouch,dual knife pouch,county comm pouch for FAK. I also have a Maxpedition H1(I think) I may add to it...and rearange again due to some other Items I picked up.... Like I said my PSK does evolve...
The nalgene sediment prefilter I got from basegear.com I like it in conjuction with my Bandana & M1 tablets.and the camelback Electrolyte tablets. orange flavor....
 
WOW! Nice setup. It seems to be a lot of stuff hanging off there. Is it comfortable to carry? Is that the stock Max strap?

I ditched the single knife pouch last night and added the M1 pouch,to hold ,the camelback tablets,Adventure medical bivy sac,fire dust.
I got the strap from a county comm bag...I forgot to order the max strap when I placed my order for the nalgene holder...:D
