I tried a paracord rig... which was really annoying. The CRK Skinner is quite top heavy. It kepts moving around. I'm going to work on this some more, maybe a regular balric (?).

Looks like you should buy one and give it away !!! I'm also interested in that blue water, almost seems out of place. It's beautiful though.

Well, knifetests (Noss), just testing one that broke during some semi-harsh batoning. But it had serrations, and wasn't the skinner. I've beat mine up pretty good, it is holds its edge and coating very well. I love it!

Most of the water in the pool comes from an underground channel, and a little from the waterfall. One reason it is so clear and blue is because it is soooooo cold! I'm sure it is also blue because of some minerals that are present, but after asking around, no one new any specifics. It's about a 70' jump into the water... I've heard of one guy who jumped, but barely made it out because his body started "locking up" from the cold.

looks like a really awesome place to be..

thanks for sharing the pics.

if you got a sheath that held the knife deeper, like a leather pouch, then the balance would be farther down and wouldn't give you quite as much trouble.

Wow thats a pretty area you were at, the water looks amazing.

Thanks for sharing

Bear Gryllls could do it... Of course he'd drink his own urine to help re-warm himself...:barf:

Seriously nice pics! Gonna have to drive down there and check that area out!
