Or, …tracking the four hundred pound wild boar… :rolleyes:

Tony and I got to spend some quality time in the snow covered woods today.

We tracked many wild creatures, but alas the wild boar was in hiding.

Here’s a photo of the great white hunter (Tony) fiddling by the fire with his Fiddleback.

And here’s a shot of Tony warming his cockles. :confused: :eek: :confused:

And a couple of pictures of a few of my field tools.

With the temperatures hovering around the freezing mark it felt like a heat wave.

A good time was had by all, especially Aiko and Jake.

Thanks Ray, there’s not much room in my closet for queens;

…my blades get used, and hard working carbon steel blades earn the patina they wear. :cool:

Great pictures, too bad you never found that boar...

-what is the name of the middle knife in your pictures? is that the one that Kev reviewed a while ago? if it is i was looking for the name of that knife To buy one for my father, I do believe Bark river makes it, but was unable to find it on there web page.
Thanks

Gilles.

The center knife is the BRK&T Rogue Bowie.

But the knife that Kev recently reviewed was the Hudson Bay Camp Knife.

Well I don't know about the great white hunter thing, but I had a good time. It was nice and warm today; about 35 F !! Beats the crap out of the single digit and low teen temps we have had!

Here are some more pics.

Here is Mike styling!
