Hill People Gear kit bag

How does it work for CCW? It looks like the gun kind of just flops around...is there a way to secure it to the insides of the pack, short of stitching a holster in there?

It works great - that's partially what it is designed for. I wouldn't say that my gun "flops around" inside. Particularly when the pack is full with other items as well, everything seems to ride pretty snug and secure. You could use something like the Maxped velcro holster inside for a little more security against the gun moving around, but really, it doesn't move at all in my experience. Take a look at this vid that shows how to quickly open and deploy:

I have used my original kit bag w/ stabilizer for running. It works great but am considering the snubby. Does the non wpn compartment have room for a wallet and big cell phone?

Hmmmm. No answer, oh well. Snubby should be arriving in a day or so. It should be perfect for the S&W 442.

Hey,
Just saw this a minute ago. Sounds like you answered your question in a way we can all get behind:thumbup:, but in case you would like independent confirmation, then yes, wallet, phone (as long as it's not Galaxy Note big) and even small keys should be fine in there.

I have a Snubby. It holds a wallet that's not too thick and my iPhone4 in an Otterbox, and a housekey. I don't think I could get much else in there. They are coming out with a limited run of Snubbys based on the original KB pattern.
