Hillbilly Fighter

Me too.
Like it all, the blade shape, handle/guard and materials used.
The escutcheon does set this one off.
Great work Bill.

Thanks everyone.

One thing about these Ozark hills, a knife this size is only good against the younger possums and raccoons, once they hit adult size you best be caring a six shooter too, nothing worse then snapping teeth and sharp claws out in the brush with a huge possum once they get a whiff of your root beer, they get terribly ferocious. :)

Bill, I just poke them there possums in the eye with my finger. Fine looking fighter along with the sheath! Did you ever break out of the ice?

That's one great looking fighter. The proportions are perfect to my eye and I really like that escutcheon. Nice!

Very nice knife!

Good looking blade, beautiful handle!

Kind regards,

Jos

I like a longer clip, I presume it's sharpened. That hamon also really adds to the character of the knife. Very nice indeed!

Thank you for the nice words everyone.

Stewart - yes sir, this one will be coming along to the LR show, I have a couple others I hope to have finished up by then also. Looking forward to meeting you there.

Ray, these aren't no sissy west coast possums, these are cross eyed, embred, hill country possums. You go to poking a finger at them and you'll pull back a bloody stub all the way from the elbow, matter of fact, one of your 15" bowies would be safer then this 10" job. There meaner then a junkyard dog. ;) :)
Yes, weather was almost 70 here yesterday and the last of the ice went away. I hope that was it for the winter.

nikoknife48 - yes top clip is sharp.

Thank you,

Bill
