One thing about these Ozark hills, a knife this size is only good against the younger possums and raccoons, once they hit adult size you best be caring a six shooter too, nothing worse then snapping teeth and sharp claws out in the brush with a huge possum once they get a whiff of your root beer, they get terribly ferocious.

Ray, these aren't no sissy west coast possums, these are cross eyed, embred, hill country possums. You go to poking a finger at them and you'll pull back a bloody stub all the way from the elbow, matter of fact, one of your 15" bowies would be safer then this 10" job. There meaner then a junkyard dog.
Yes, weather was almost 70 here yesterday and the last of the ice went away. I hope that was it for the winter.
