Anybody else in the VA/NC area going to the Hillsville Gun Show on Labor Day weekend this year? If you've never been, it's worth the trip. Lots of stuff to see, and not just guns and knives. It's like a huge flea market, too. I'm already getting excited about it.

What part of Va. ? I have family in Wise Va.
It's in the town of Hillsville. It's southern Virginia, in Carroll County. It's a huge show, lots of stuff to see and plenty to buy.

It'd be awesome to see some of you guys there. No idea how we'd find each other in that size crowd, though. They expect half a million people, this year.

Been there many times. Some great tables, some tables buying other people junk If you buy heavy stuff, there are guys running around in golf carts and ATV's that will haul it to your car. Biggest flea market you ever saw!! LOL !!! Wear good walking shoes.
My Mom's people were scattered over Wythe, Smythe and Grayson counties- between Hillsville and the NC border.

is it a dixie classic gun show? i went to the one that just came through richmond. it seems to me in the last few years there have been more and more quality knives comming through.
We plan to put in two days of serious "fleamarketing". Guns have been way over priced in my opinon the last couple of years but there is so much more to see. In two ten hour days you can see most of the flea market if you skip the gun show and yard sales.
