1) SOLD to Bric 36" 42 oz. Himalayan Sword, by Sher, carved chandan handle, brown buffalo hide scabbard.
This is one of the rarer HI swords, and after 2006 you just didn’t see them much anymore. Dead straight, perfectly done by Sher, with extra thick guard. Heavy, but well-balanced with a full tang, beautiful fuller and workmanship.
2) SOLD 36" 32 oz. Tibetan Sword by Royal Kami Bura, red-brown buffalo hide scabbard.
This is one of Bura’s best. Sharp, flawless, and a perfect 2 pounds with a hidden tang so it has a slightly blade-forward feel to it, and swings and handles beautifully. Nice reddish-brown toned buffalo hide scabbard. Plain Satisal wood (Nepali oak) handle. Tapered guard is fully engraved on the blade side.
You see many 31.5” Tibetans from Bura, but not nearly as many 36” models, and it is unusual in that it is slightly less than 1 oz. per inch.
Price reflects the kami and the work, so even though it is 10 oz. lighter than the Sher, with no handle carving, listed price is the same:
3) SOLD to STCollector Old school 20” 28 oz. Sirupate from Amtrak (Raju Rasili) with black buffalo horn handle, made at least 13 or 14 years ago. HI old style superfrog. This is the last Amtrak I have, and he is the kami whose mark is the flyflot (or swastika lookalike) religious symbol.
4) 20" 48 oz. Murali Samsher, very nice kick-ass blade with chandan handles, the largest of the five samshers I’ve owned, and a great example of the one of the better seldom-seen big HI choppers.
$240 + $15 priority shipping & insurance
5) Koster K-Tusk is 3” and 5/32” wide and copper-coated S30V. Spear point blade with polished green micarta scales w/ 3 brass Corby bolts and red liners. Both a Kydex sheath with Tek-lok plus an extra leather dress sheath.
I paid $260 for the combo, (which included S&H and Tek-lok) but would sell for $225 shipped at this point as I have too many others in this size range and no one is going to pay full boat. Feels like a TDI LE knife in the hand, very comfortable.
All knives are unused, uncarried, and unsharpened.
--> Shipping discounts available for multiple purchases.
--> No lowball offers please, and can't trade right now.
--> Prefer not to ship OCONUS, but will do so to people I’ve dealt with before at their ship cost. (Except the swords, sorry.)
--> Prefer PayPal, and I cover the fees, or USPS MO. Will ship to PP confirmed addresses only.
--> All sales are final. These descriptions and pictures and those sent via email represent the actual knives and their condition.
--> I think these are fair valuations. These Kami's were superb, and aren't making anymore knives.
If interested please first post "I'll take it" here, then send a PM or email. Thanks for looking.
