It's a special custom made by Vim Kami, one of the brightest protégé of the great Royal Kami, Lal "Bura" Bahadur.:thumbup:
Specs are as follows:
Blade length: 16.5"
Handle length: 4.5"
Overall length: 21"
Width/belly depth : 2.25"
Spine thickness: A hair from 3/8"
Weight :~ 28-30 Oz
Point of balance: 6.5" away from the habaki bolster, apex on the curvature.
Handle : Neem wood (Natural anti-microbial wood)
Construction: Partial tang with reinforced rivet for extra strength, non habaki bolster and dui Chirras (double hollow-forged and ground fullers) for weight reduction as well as added strength.
Sheath: high quality maroon color with tinder pouch and sash carry.
Condition: New (i have way too many to use!)
I had this made to exact the specimen by HI forumite 'Berkeley' and it came out as flying colors.
Sadly this has to go as i look to consolidate my collection.
The blade has been glazed with baby oil and neem handled treated with tung oil as well as coats of beeswax.
