I had a little bump removed from my brain (probably explains it's small capacity) several years ago. Just a multitude of test prior and during the surgery to make sure they weren't damaging anything.
My wife got all excited when they did this one and actually wiggled my toes. I didn't have anything to do with it and didn't know they were moving but she was thrilled.
A week after the surgery a nurse comes in pulls up the blankey and tells me to wiggle my toes, I tried hard as I could of course with zero results. She turned white, thought she was gonna faint. I had to tell her I couldn't wiggle em before the surgery and the chair next to the bed wasn't hospital issue. Probably saved her life.
