Hinderer availability?

Good morning all! I don’t know if this is the appropriate place to ask this, but does anyone know of any shops with Hinderer knives (the xm in particular) in stock? Is there a Hinderer shortage at the moment? I’ve been waiting to pick up a new xm for months with no luck…

Is there a Hinderer shortage at the moment?

Yes, most drops sell out within minutes or hours. Your best bet is to sign up for dealer notifications and proactively check Hinderer's entire dealer list (where you'll sometimes find a hidden straggler), or pick up a gently used one. They pop up on the Exchange all the time.

I signed up on multiple sites and picked up my XM-18 and then later picked up my XM-24 off a fellow member here. It takes patience and timing but they are always in production so you'll eventually get one.

If you see one on the exchange you will have to respond quickly rather than ask questions or try to negotiate.

IMO there is a lot of drops at the moment so finding one seems to be easier tha it has been even a couple of years ago

You can also try to get one second hand. Some come in LNIB conditions

Did you ever find one ? If not I have a new 3.5" spanto I've been thinking of selling. Orange G10 with stonewashed lockside.
