Hinderer blade availability? Need insight

Ive been collecting/trading Hinderer knives for a while now, and I've noticed that certain styles are either scarce or non existent. Im sure many of you are far more knowledgeable, and could perhaps help clarify whether certain things are more desireable, and are therefor less available, or if they just arent making them a particular way anymore. Styles/addons I seem to NEVER see include:

XM 18 3.5 / XM 24 Slicer grind
XM 18 3.5 / 24 non flippers
XM 18 3.5 working finish / bead blast Ti scales
XM 24 Ti scales in general
Sterile blades
Red g10 scales
All that badass steel flame stuff

Where did all this stuff go? Are they done making it or do I just need to be patient? I havent been able to find any info online, and I tried emailing Rob but unfortunately, didn't get an answer. In all fairness, it was right before Christmas when I emailed him, so they were probably super busy. Anybody have any helpful info?
 
RHK makes things in cycles, they are a relatively small shop.

So they do runs.

I am guessing they have been putting most of their energy into their new line of knives and will get back to some XM runs in 2017.
 
I'm not any Hinderer expert, but I believe they make their knives/accessories in "runs". For example they make X-amount of non-flippers and then focus on making Y-amount of Slicers.

The Steel Flame stuff usually sells pretty quick, but if you know where to look you'll see it pretty often.
 
Ic. Well that certainly makes me feel a little better. I was late boarding the Hinderer train. Feels like I missed out on some cool stuff. Hopefully they will produce more of what I'm after. Would love a sterile, non fliper 3.5 slicer!
 
The best answers I can give you from what we know in our talks with Hinderer.

XM 18 3.5 / XM 24 Slicer grind-These have recently been made but it was a small run and they sold out quickly everywhere. I feel sure they will do more in 2017!

XM 18 3.5 / 24 non flippers- Have not made these in a while and I personally have not heard if they are doing any soon but you never know.

XM 18 3.5 working finish / bead blast Ti scales- We just got a nice batch of these in a couple of weeks ago. They sold out in 11 minutes.

XM 24 Ti scales in general - We got 2 runs of these in 2016 and they did not last long but I think we had them for a week or more. I am hoping for more in the future.

Sterile blades-Been a Hinderer dealer for 18 months and have yet to see one.

Red g10 scales -Begging like mad for them and I think this will happen soon!

All that badass steel flame stuff - Steel flame is a separate company and only makes stuff in very small quantity. It can be very hard to find.

Any info on 3"XM 18s? I havn't seen any since the tanto harpoons at Blade show.

Red G10 is indeed so elusive. I saw it recently on BHQ - it was on an XM-18 Bowie stonewash with blue ano. It looked so awesome. I wanted to get that for 4th of July but of course it was the only one and was already sold out by the time I saw it.

That was the first time I ever knew red G10 even existed on an XM. Been looking for it ever since, but definitely haven't had any luck. Probably secondary market/exchange type place is the best bet until they (hopefully) do it again. If you hear anything about them doing a red run, Whitty, do tell. *wink*

Stonewash Slicers are also really hard to come by.

I hear they are a strong probability for early 2017 but I don't know blade type or any other info.
 
I can only speak on a couple
sterile blades and non flippers are from days gone by, so you will have to look on the secondary market
Red scales have always been elusive-looked 2 years for red 3" scale just to learn they never made them. :)
Ti scales also have been hard to find over the years, and pricy on the secondary Mkt. Paid a small fortune for my 3" slicer with ti scale.

Secondary market is your friend.....most those things can be easily found on the fb sales groups. I've been into hinderer less than 6 months...think like 4 or so...but have come across many nib sterile blades, i prefer the logos so passed...but got had 2 nib 20cv spear points, a nib 3" slicer, a 3.5 slicer from the last run, then the got the spanto and skinner which are easily found at dealers still. Then I've added all the steel flame goodies the same way.

I've also come across plenty ti scales, and a few non flippers...the only thing i haven't seen was the red scales.

I've been looking for a black finish, in wharnny or skinner, just got a bowie black DLC, but Ive seen darker black blade coating
