Hinderer - junk?

I'm hoping you weren't looking for support based on your overly dramatic attempt at a witty post? Simply contact RHK (it is very easy to find their contact info) and let them know what happened. If they refuse to correct the issue, come back here and let the community know. I would be willing to bet that they will provide you with replacement screws or fix the issue if any service is required. If you still feel that Hinderers are "junk," I am sure there are many members that would be willing to purchase the knife on the exchange.

What's the name of the bolt that sheared off so easily?

"Scale screws" and "Handle nuts" and "Stand-offs" .... Might have sheered off because the previous owner over-tightened it ? When that happened to me, the remainder of the screw can typically easily be taken out of the handle nut, because there is no pressure. Just send RKH an email, they'll reply within a day. Excellent service in my experience. Plus you can buy replacement screws at DLT, for example.

So I better dig a hole and burry my Hinderer's before it tears up my Dyson?? Now I'm getting worried! What if it exploded's and burns the house down!! Why, why would Rick make such a thing!:(

OP you went about this the wrong way, take a look at the hinderer pages and see how many have the original hardware on them.
I would bet that you would probably have a set of screws in the mail today had you take a deep breath before making this post, but now I think not going to happen. I have taken many Hinderer apart never even stripped a screw and some unknowingly use lok tite on the scale screws. Some guy on youtube is putting it on his Vintage ? I do not know why but sad video.
Anyways somebody ask for photos and I think we need some
