Hinderer Ranch Bowie

I’d like to see some pictures of he knife in hand.
Was more difficult to get these shots than I though.. kind of awkward so sorry if they aren't the best pictures.

I wear a large size glove if that helps. Yes that is a big scar on my left hand.

Great acquisition. I’m not a fixed blade guy, but if I was this would be my first purchase. Congrats.

Looks like the perfect size to me, the overall shape really caught my eye. Reminds me of the perfect size, practical ready for action but not so heavy when you have to carry the rest of your gear. I would not make it too much bigger for a larger version, maybe 6 to 6.5 inches blade. The 5.25 blade reminds me of how some of the Winkler knives are just the right size for outdoor adventures. Thanks for showing the cool pics in hand. This one is hitting on all cylinders. I would like to see how the design team developed this one.

I’ve been looking to one to replace my EDC fixed blade, which is currently a Randall Model 15.

The Hinderer Bowie is the right size for what I use my current knife for, but it has a blade profile I prefer over the model 15.

Would be interesting to see this knife next to a Buck 119 or 119 Brahma (the bottom two).

This knife's basic profile looks reminiscent of the 119, which isn't a bad thing. Sort of a classic for this style of knife.

Quite the work of art. I wish he would make one w that style handle on his trademark drop point design blade. And as long as I’m dreaming, it would be perfect at 9-1/2 overall and 4-1/2 blade. Have you sharpened the 3V yet?

I have not I just got it yesterday and I don't actually have a sharpener nor have I ever sharpened a knife before. I would like to get a sharpener at some point but I'll practice on something cheap. It is very sharp out of the box I shaved a few arm hairs yesterday with it and it performed even better than my xm-18.
