I have for sale a Rick Hinderer Firetac w/ brown G10 inlay for sale. This one has been carried lightly. There are a few marks on the blade near the tip of the knife. Looks like 3 small scratches on each side near the tip and a nice little gouge on the locking side of the blade. I think its shown in the pic by a shiny spot. My camera was not good enough to capture these properly. The action and lockup of this knife, as expected of Rick's work, are perfect. This is an extremely solid folder. Padded zipper case included. Asking Withdrawn paypal shipped and insured.

Thanks

I wanted to add this unsolicited comment.....this Firetac has a brown micarta insert...not a brown g-10 insert..this brown micarta was given to me by a friend and it is a very rare piece of material...I was not able to get any more of it...this knife is the ONLY Firetac I made with this material....so I guess you could call it a one of a kind Firetac....anyway, I just thought you all might want to know..

Rick, I like that brown micarta and I was just going to send you an email to ask you to use that micarta insert in my firetac, haha....

is it like a rag micarta?

I'm new to Ricks knives... so please forgive the question....

Is the blade beadblasted? What kind of finish?

Rick,
Wow! thanks for chiming in Rick. And I'd like to add...Withdrawn...I had didnt know that this is a one of a kind. I thought it looked different, I was told it was G10, its got kind of a speckle pattern to it so that would explain the micarta. If I had known, it would not be for sale...I'm not in the habit of selling any of my Hinderers, just tight on cash right now but, since this one is a rare one, Its staying with me.

Thanks for letting me know Rick.
Sorry folks, maybe another day..I'll sell something else, I didnt really want to sell this one anyhow.

CAD...
Its satin finish, not beadblast...and Ricks work is insanely well done

WithDrawn!

Thanks

Bummer...

Sorry Chris, I was reluctant to sell this one anyhow, its one of my favorites. I've got plenty of knives I can sell to make up for not selling this one. Just figured it would bring cash the fastest. Kind of suprised it didnt sell right away, but w/ it being a one of kind I think I'll hold onto it for awhile. If I do decide to sell it, I'll PM you first and give you first dibs if you like.

Thanks again, sorry to dissapoint anyone that was interested.

I have a folder with brown 'rag' micarta which looks the same. It's got a wood 'burl' look to it that no other micarta has.

I'd been keeping my eyes on this one also. It WAS a very good value at the asking. :)
