Are they steel or Ti? Has anyone anodized them?

Yeah I read that they were hardened stainless. Well "it" not "they" - it's 1 piece press-fitted, as mentioned in post above

Magnet sticks to my thumb studs as well as my friends' and my brother's XM's. All of us have XM-18's and an XM-24.

according to the Hinderer archives they only put ti thumbstuds on a few customs-some were anodized, some natural
