Picked up an XM-18 with another scale and replaced standoffs and these extras were included as well. I really can't see any marks or anything but I can't say for sure the scale wasn't mounted (or wasn't the original and was replaced). It does appear to me to look unused. Same with the standoffs - I think the original owner just replaced them. Comes as shown (I don't have the original bag).
