I am selling a used XM18 skinner with blue/black digital camo done with Cerakote by myself, with the hardware being sandblasted.
It has been carried/used since then a decent amount but the Cerakote is holding up well other than some getting worn away to bare substrate on the blade portion of the handle (see pics). The g10 underneath is blue so it matches the blue cerakote really well.
As you can see on the hardware there are snail trails and some of it (like the pivot screw) is polished somewhat simply from carrying. The blade has a few minor scratches from use that the stonewash hides really well.
I did just break it down and clean/lube it w/ blue lock tite on the pivot nut and the action adjusted perfectly w/ no play, either vertical or horizontal. Dead centered w/ lock up at about 45%. Very smooth action. I also did some detent work and lockbar tuning so it has great detent lock up/action which allows for push-button/lightswitch method of deployment, as well as thumb stud use.
The edge has been reprofiled to 13-15 dps w/ an 18 dps microbevel at 1k grit done freshly by myself so it's absolutely hair popping sharp and can be easily maintained on the Sharpmaker.
