I hate to get rid of this beautiful and very rare knife, but I will never use it because of it's value and how gorgeous it is. This is a very recent XM-18 that I won in the Hinderer lottery at the California Custom Knife Showa few months ago. It was in the first run of knives with the new Hinderer logo and this was one of two that Rick did for this show. This is not an aftermarket coating that I had done, it came from Hinderer with the coating. The knife has not been used at all, and it was only carefully placed in my pocket when I won it. It has not been carried since. It is perfect, exactly as I got it. Has not been taken apart or anything, just carefully handled since I got it. Locks up early and solid. No stickiness what-so-ever. Centered blade. Everything is perfect and the hardware is also polished nicer than any other Hinderer I've seen.
I only know of the price of one other of these that has sold, which was sold and it was right where I figured the value should be on these, considering how rare they are. The price will include Priority Shipping in the US with insurance. $1000 including Paypal fees.
