Today I am selling my fantastic condition (like-new) Hinderer XM-18

Specs:
Blade Grind: Spanto
Blade Steel: S35VN
Blade Length: 3.5"
Blade Coating: Flat dark earth DLC
Tan anodized titanium lock side
Black G10 scale

Condition: Like new, carried for roughly a week and used only to slice a piece of paper. No marks or blemishes, factory edge

Comes with:
Titanium (all copper colored) handle screws
Titanium standoff's
Titanium lock bar stabilizer
Titanium summit series bead
Brass standoff's
Copper standoff's
Copper lockbar stabilizer
All original hardware
Hinderer Box

Are those photos of the wrong knife? ... was that a typo or wrong pics, if it is the wrong pics can you send me the right ones? I'd be very interested thanks

edit to remove wrong statement - sorry OP, it should have been posed simply as a question not a statement, as i was apparently wrong!

That is a DLC coated blade. For reference if you look up "Rick Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Spanto Knife FDE DLC Coated w/ Brown G-10" on bladehq you will see it is the same thing.
 
interesting - i was under the impression that DLC was always black - i've seen photos of the black DLC hinderer knives, and this is the first example of a knife that i personally have heard of (not saying they don't exist, just saying i've not experienced one) that is not black... cool

good price for all those goodies though, if i didn't have a spanto on the way i'd be buying it... just was hoping it was the black blade version

It is in fact DLC coated, as Chris_S said. Thanks Chris
 
sorry r3xz - i edited my original post there... shouldn't have made a statement, as i was wrong it seems. Just had never heard of a non-black dlc before - that's pretty cool in fact
