Today I have a pretty awesome knife up for grabs. It's a 3.5" Gen 4 Hinderer XM-18. Slicer grind, with flipper. This particular knife is one of the early Gen 4's that was built with a sterile duratech 20cv blade. These are disappearing quickly and are hard to find.
Everything about the knife is perfect, as expected. Solid lockup, perfect centering, good lockup %, very smooth, good solid detent(can NOT shake this one open), flips very well.
This knife has been sharpened, but it was sharpened by Hinderer, so, as good or better than the factory edge. Also, one last note, there is a small blemish above the first "R" in the word "HINDERER" and there are a few marks on the pocket clip. You can make them out in the third photo. The stonewashed covers both of these up and they're not noticeable unless you study the knife closely.
Overall, it's an amazing knife. The only reason I'm letting it go is because I have another one on the way, but with a pond scum scale
So, if you've ever wanted one of the disappearing sterile duratech 20cv blades, at the price that a normal gen 4 was a few months ago, here's your chance
I'll be including the black frag scale. It's pretty sweet, and currently out of stock. Comes with box, bag, and hinderer peanuts. I might have some extras (spanner tool, sheath, stand-offs, scale, ss investigator pen) that I could include for you at additional cost. Just ask if you're interested.
Price is $615. You take care of PayPal fees, and I'll pay for shipping.
The only trade I will accept is a Busse TGLB competition finish.
