A while back we had a thread about Hinderer knives. People were questioning detent strength and talking about the knife opening in their pockets. I had promised to take the knife out for a jog just clipped to my shorts and see what happened. Honestly I kept forgetting about it until tonight when I went to go for a jog and spotted my Hinderer on the counter where my watch was.
So to report back as promised, the knife did great. It never came loose, never opened and road right in my pocket just fine for the entire 5 mile jog. Yes my big ol self can still run 5 miles. Pace was 8:40 so I was not exactly burning it up.
Needless to say clip strength was great and the knife never opened. Mine seems to be about middle of the road on detent strength compared to others in the shop.
