The XM-24 Gen 4 Non-Flipper, S35VN, Slicer Grind with ACU Scale. It is in as-new, unused, uncarried, uncut condition. Does have a modification, which I'll explain below. Comes with box, bag and tactical peanuts. Note that the box has been labeled by the factory, "ACE Non Flipper." Dead solid, early lockup, with no play in any direction. Very sharp, factory edge.
Full disclosure: This knife won't be for everyone. I know some folks take offense to mods on knives like this, but for the record, I have other, un-moded XMs that I use all the time. This was a project, and I don't want to sell it, but this one doesn't get used and unfortunately I need the cash. So up for sale it goes. Ok, the modification:
I prefer a knife to be truly ambidextrous. I love Hinderers, but I find it hard to use the thumb stud with the left hand, on Hinderer's knives. I always felt the frame needs a relief cut on the lockbar, matching the one on the G10 side. I had a local machinist add one, and lightly re-stonewash to blend it in. He did a beautiful job. It looks factory, and it works exactly like you'd think. It makes that thumb stud as easy to engage as the one on the other side. Plus it looks fantastic if you ask me.
