Just as new, never carried outside my house/yard to photograph. I'm not sure if this makes it a LNIB or a NIB but it's as new from factory. $SPF shipped priority.
I bought to see if it would suit me as my first Hinderer. I'm left handed and decided this right handed knife just wasn't going to work for me. It's a "catch release" for me.
Here's the sum total of what it has cut:
I put it through a leaf frond from a Bird of Paradise plant in my backyard while photographing. It was in the air like a Samurai sword, so the blade never touched any glat surface. This is just full disclosure. I could say it never cut anything but that would be a lie.
I did NOT put it through any paper. I did NOT cut any tape or cardboard boxes.
Point blank, I could post this as NIB and it would be impossible to know any differently as this is a ruggedized tool designed for hard use. I'm not sure what you would have to do to give this a used look.
