Hinderer XM18 3" slicer. Rick does it again!

I kind of feel the current 3" is small enough. And the 24 is a beast. Just playing a bit with my posts. But in reality they would all be pretty darn sweet!

All I can say is, Thank God we aren't on the metric system because I would be done. I get 3", 3.5" and 4".
A Custom hollow ground 3.3/4" Spearpoint with full textured Ti stonewash would be a package I would stand out front waiting for UPS sitting on a pony with a barber lollipop and singing "I wanna be a Pilgram".
Yep. That would be the ticket.

I don't know about that Rubi...I'd be hiding in the bushes. I've seen pictures of your mail lady :(

Great pics & love that 3'' orange scale flipper. Sorry to hear about Pete's previous owner...someone should beat the s--t out of him instead. I hate hearing stories about animal abuse, nothing more pisses me off to hear horror stories like that...good to know he is at a good home!

3 inch slicer is the ideal every day carry knife. Light, disappears in the pocket, slices like a demon, and overbuilt to withstand an A-bomb.
I seriously think I'm in love:love_heart: ;)

I hear you RMA, Maggie (my rescue kitten) was an ejection out a window of a moving car on a four(4) lane highway. I was in my Camaro at the time. My first reaction was "You can not out run me, you are about to have a very bad day". Then I saw her laying on the edge of the road. Stopped ran across two lanes picked her up (she had a broken rear leg) and drove her to the vet.
She was only 6 weeks old.
Needless to say, she had a new home and I had another kitty/cat that I wasn't expecting. Nursed her back to health and found her another home because my two Male cats weren't having any apart of a new woman in their lives especially one with all sets of claws. I'm still looking for that A$$H@le.

Yes, Snowreaper1 . I get a kick out of some forum comparisons "The 3" Hinderer is like the XYZ knife of similar size"
No it's not. It is a Tank of a knife that fits inside a much larger Tank but, they are both tanks.
clankity clank it's a tank.

Thats terrible about to hear about the kitty also...I love cats almost as much as dogs. I love just about all animals really & it really sucks that people actually do these things to helpless animals. Good to know you do the right thing. I see you own alot of production XM's, any customs to add to the collection ?

Someday. None yet. As I look back at the history of Ricks creations (many in the Hinderer photo thread) I am dumbstruck by the beauty and diversity of his creations. I really am in awe of Hinderers in general. Much like Van Morrison, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pizza and Good Beer - Hinderer just "speaks to me". Love the stuff

Yes I only own one XM myself which is the Swat edition along with a few Investigator pens I wear for work. It would be awesome to pick up one of his HF's or a Bowie, etc...one of these days perhaps. His blades are a work of art for sure!

Great thread Rubi!

I've had my share of rescue pets, but our current three came from breeders. Our Lab Twins - Hans and Lady:

My Rottweiler Caesar....though it's probably more accurate to say that I'm his human as he's rather protective:

I'd love to be able to share a picture of an XM-18 in either 3 or 3.5 inch versions....and I will when I get one.

Off topic but WOW! Caesar is one handsome Rottweiler. How old is he? How much does he weigh?

I have a rescued mix Rott/Lab bitch, according to the Vet, who has been with me 10 yrs now. I've always wondered what a pure one would be like (papered or not).

My JoJo (muttweiler) is low maintenance, well behaved and very gentle - until a car pulls into our driveway or worse yet - if an unexpected knock lands on my door.

Nice score Rubi! I'm the same way in that knife size is often seasonal. Larger knives for the winter because they usually reside in a coat pocket and are easier to deploy with gloves and smaller knives for summer because of the lighter apparel. I could wear a 24 with shorts, I do all the time at home, but out in public it is damn obvious you are carrying a big piece of steel in your pocket...I don't mind the extra attention from the ladies but some sheeple really freak out!
