Hope everyone is soaking in a nice holiday weekend, and the smell of BBQ is filling the air. Today, I invite you to check out what is IMO one of the greatest production knives to hit the market in recent times, in one of the best looking color configurations.
XM-18 tri-way Skinny Slicer - VERY lightly carried. Literally only carried for 2 days (yesterday & today). Just a couple cuts on a receipt to test sharpness. Purchased here on the forums as LNIB less than a week ago. The only flaws or blems that pop out to my eye is maybe a slight trail on the lockside (maybe just the finish) & an almost microscopic deformation in the edge right at the tip. It’s so small I couldn’t see it or photograph it (can’t even see it in the close up shots), but I know it’s there from the slight feedback I can feel dragging it lightly over felt cloth. I loved my skinny slicer so much that I felt compelled to buy this one quick to have a spare. Now my rational mind is back, and I realize these are so well built that only one will serve me as long as I need with no issue. Action is amazing. Snappy open, perfect detent, and falls shut.
