This Hiromoto is in very good condition, I am the original owner, I use two other Hiromoto's in my kitchen.
The blade is made from Aogami Super Steel (aka; Hitachi Blue Super) which has been forged from carbon steel. The outside of the blade is covered with 405 stainless steel (cladding) which provides a rust resistant surface yet exposes the Aogami high carbon along the cutting edge.
The blade is strong, does not flex, is 150mm long (5.9").
This knife has just been professionally sharpened, it will remain unused until sold, it is extremely sharp.
Comes in the original box with papers as shown in the pictures.
