Buy too many knives lately? Forget you special someone's birthday? Anniversary sneaking up on you? I'm here to help! I've got two really nice strands of freshwater pearls. One strand is white in 8.5-7.5mm and the other is in natural peach 8.5-8.0mm.
I spent years in China helping countless folks from congressmen to my inlaws buy pearls--hundreds of strands and many, many hours. These two strands were ones I initially selected for my wife, but, after seeing how many she already has (and hearing her threats if I gave her any more
) I decided to pass them along here. Not sure how much folks here know about pearls, but virtually ALL pearls (fresh or salt water) start with a shell bead over which the mollusk secretes nacre. The thicker the nacre, the more lustrous the pearl. Round freshwater pearls are hard to come by. Most of the pearls you find on ebay for under $100 have ridges on the pearls or lots of other major imperfections. These sets are nicely rounded and have a good, thick nacre (mother of pearl) on them and a deep lustre. They aren't "potato" pearls or oddly misshapen. They aren't perfectly rounded and I can't say they are without any imperfections (those kinds cost $100s or $1000s even if you go directly to the source), but these are incredibly nice pearls--especially for the money.
One other note, freshwater pearls come naturally in white, off white, lavender, and pink/peach--any other colors are dyed. Salt water come naturally in white, off white, gold, black, and peacock green. Most of the black pearls you find out there are dyed freshwater ones--good salt water pearls are very expensive.

You COULD take a risk with ebay pearls (trust me, I've been there and done that, and have never been satisfied), or you COULD hop on a plane and go sift through the pearl markets in Suzhou and Shanghai and try to negotiate. OR I could save you that hassle and sell them to you for about what I paid for them one my last trip (give or take the exchange rate
)
Also up for grabs, a bunch of Maxped and 5.11 gear. Some of the Maxped is labeled "MagForce" which is the name Maxped sells under in Asia. I was in Taiwan recently (where Maxped's factory is) and found one of their outlets. Same factory, same materials, same product codes, same everything--just a different name
NIB Maxped Jumbo KISS--green and khaki. I got it and realized I wanted a different set up. SOLD
"New" Maxped Fatboy--green. It's new, but as it was sitting in my basement I had a pipe spring a leak and drip a little rusty water on one corner of the bag. Might just wipe off, but I haven't checked. SOLD
New Maxped/Magforce M-5 Waistpack (khaki). Only difference? You don't need tac ties to put this one something--already attached. SOLD
5.11 Rush MOAB 10 (sandstone). I EDCed this for a month and it still looks new. Can't say enough about how fantastic this pack is--the design, layout, organization, and materials. Problem is, I have a bad back and tend to over pack. I need either a smaller EDC or a regular pack SOLD

Brand new Timber Ridge bow case. I got this from Cabelas for Christmas, snipped the tag off this AM to use it and realized my bow won't fit.
It WILL come folded which is how it shipped to me but doesn't impact its usability. My loss is your gain ($40+ shipping from Cabelas)--$30
Blackhawk speedclips--#3 six pack. I'll throw in to another order for SOLD (not cost effective otherwise). These are GREAT! no hassles, easy on, easy off, but stay in place until you say otherwise.
