The Metropolitan Museum of Art has released 400,000 hi-rez images. Amongst the collection are hundreds of images of knives/swords and other edged weapons and tools. I've been ogling the website all morning and find it quite amazing.

I have just opened the pic in a new window and then "save image as" it. Accomplished with the handy dandy right click mouse button. (My wife doesn't use the right click but instead navigates some other way. I tell her she is doing it wrong but...) If you are on a phone, I have no idea.

Great link. Thanks.

It's amazing to think that some of those were made hundreds of years ago.

I am heading down there on March 3. Last year when I went they had a very impressive display. I can't wait to see it this year.

Thanks for posting the link, there are some very cool items shown. I'm always shocked at how many items they have that you can't see, though. Its seems almost criminal to lock them up and not show anybody. They have several daggers I am keenly interested in but are not on display and not photographed as far as I am aware, nor have they responded to inquiries I've made.
