This is directly inspired historical representation of a tomahawk often used by the indians of the great lakes regions. The "belly ripper" was so called for the hooked spike. Historical spike hawks often had long slender blades with a cutting edge of around 2"..S we came up with this from several recources. Its forged from high carbon steel bar. The cutting edge is 2" wide. It has filework on the spine and is etched to an aged patina. The cap on top is wagon rim wrought iron and is fileworked. The haft is 19" long curly maple rounded on the butt end. Leather wrap sewn with sinew and two nickle studs. We forged two wall hooks that you can hang the hawk on. They are included. We are asking **SOLD**(priority with conformation) Our paypal address is phllpwest@bellsouth.net
Thanks and have a great day.

This is beautiful. It makes me want to defend a fort from a siege of British regulars and Mohawk warriors.

gorgeous!

the only thing missing is a pair of square nails to mount the hooks. :D

Must be a slow day... I second the reply from Magen David. This tomahawk has all the elements of a true tomahawk to me! Great lines!!!
