History of Spyderco?

Hi, I have been looking everywhere for an article on the history of spyderco but can't find one. I wan't to know exactly how the ideas like the round hole were thought up, the earliest models and steels, etc. I heard something about Sal trying to open a slipjoint on a ladder and dropping it or something like that. Can someone could please give me a link or wright it themselves in a post? It is for an article on an innovative thinker (Sal Glesser) for school and it is due Wednesday:eek:.

There is a bit of info. on the 2nd page of the catalog but it is just a blerb on how great Spyderco is rather than info. on the thinking of how the hole, clip or serations came to be.

Have you looked at the Spyderco website or had a look on the comp. forum ?

If you had given your self more than 24 hours to wright this up you could have e-mailed Spyderco for some info. but .......

You could always just maker it up and include a disclamer ;)
