The Safety is the ‘Squeeze Cocker’ at the front of the grip, the magazine release is at the bottom of the grip at the rear....just trying to help out, I’ve got 4. ;)

I quite like the HK P7 series. The quality is obvious and they shoot well ... but hey, they are HK products.

Here some info from the HK Pro forum;

"PSP - Early 9mm version labled PSP on slide & checkered grips. About 239 of these reportedly made before transitioning to the P7.
P7 - Labled P7 on the stippled grip with protruding heel magrelease, 9mm x 19 on slide. This is also commonly referred to as the P7PSP (or mistakingly the PSP) but the slide or grip is not marked so.
P7E - Same as P7 but with flush heel mag release, labled P7E on frame and P7 on the grips. This is also commonly referred to as the P7PSP but is not marked so.
P7PSP - Last production run of the heel mag release guns in 1997, labled P7PSP on the slideand P7 on the grips. These came with a lifetime warranty unlike any of the previous heel magrelease guns. Looks the same as the P7E.
P7M8 - Labled P7M8 on slide & grips with grip frame mag release behind trigger, 9mm. Also had a commemorative version of 500 guns in 2004.
P7M13 - Same as P7M8 but labled P7M13 and 13 round capacity.
P7K3 - Labled P7K3 on slide & grips, interchangeable in .22LR, .32ACP, & .380ACP calibers.
P7M10 - Labled P7M10 on the slide & grips, holds 10 rounds of .40S&W and has a taller slide.

The internals of the P7 and P7M8 differ as well."

I really appreciate the added info, guys! Personally, best gun design ever produced! B3en busy with having out fence redoNE from the last hurricane. I should be able to post pics tonight after babysitting my 8 year old granddaughter. Thanks Dawkins and BladesScout!

1516074742519-1393817005.jpg just added pics. Original slide has been ION onded black but frame is original. Please note that I can not be sure if I can find the box. I had thought I had it but been looking but can't find it. I will try the attic later. If I do find it, it could especially with the gun but price is the same, sorry. I am really reluctant to sell but need to. So if an6nody wants it, it could especially with the two slides and 2 mags that are in excellent shape. I have not really gone over 200 rounds on this m pistol as I have arthritic fingers and can't hold on too long.gun is hard to get and in great condition.no rust anywhere! My loss, your gain! Thanks.
