The knife arrived today!
My wife called me at work (I'm a fireman) and told me I had a package from Arizona. I told the guys I was going to run to the house for a minute to get something. I had to see my knife and I don't get off work until the morning. I'm the shift commander so I can come and go as I please (within reason, in the shift captain's pickup of course) and my home is near downtown. But I was on official business. I was making sure the streets weren't closed and all the hydrants were still there between the station and my house. I brought the knife back to the station. The other guys really liked it. The Fire Chief seemed most impressed with it. And of course I like it. Nice knife. Thank you very much for the contest and the knife. I will take very good care of it.
The knife does seem lonely for it's gun friend from the photo. I'll have to introduce it to my Ruger P-90 in the morning.
