Just opened up this very thoughtful gift from @Burke does anyone have a good recipe for waffles. With this pure maple syrup, the regular corn syrup is not going to cut it. Have to ask if “Miracle on 19 weed street” is infused, looking for something for New Year’s EveView attachment 2738571. My secret Santa will be receiving my gift today also.

Glad everything showed up ok (and nice job staging them!).

The Miracle on Weed Street is not infused with cannabis...just spruce tips for some seasonal flair. The brewery happens to be on Weed Street in Marlborough and is one of my favorites, especially this time of year when they do their holiday brews. The Say Goodnight Kevin is a one-and-done kind of beer, at least for me!

I don't usually make waffles (take too long and too messy) but for pancakes I:

Preheat griddle to 350

Mix:
2 cups flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 1 / 2 tbsp baking powder

Add and stir in:
1 1 /2 cups of milk
1/2 stick of salted butter melted
2 large eggs

Ladle ~1/2 cup portions onto the griddle and let cook 4 - 5 minutes, flip, cook another 3 - 4. My kids like plain, I like with blueberries so I do a double recipe and make the first couple batches plain and the second with blueberries (fresh or frozen, if frozen the tiny wild blueberries work better).

It is nice to have a memorable connection to two guys with good tastes in knives and related stuff. This is a very beautiful and practical gift that will see a lot of use.

Wife said Santa put a package in my mailbox today. I won’t be home until tomorrow evening so I’ll have to wait. She did say it does have a return address on it so maybe I can do some sleuthing and figure out who it’s from. Well maybe not as my internet research isn’t the best. Mostly because I’m impatient.
