Hoback A15 Custom

This is an early full custom Hoback A15 from around 2013 that sold for upwards of $1500. I'm selling it for what the current production A15's are going for. It has a dark tumbled S90V tanto blade (although maker didn't mark blade steel at the time), bronzed orange peeled Ti handles with carbon fiber inlays and milled Ti pocket clip. It features Hoback's patented rolling detent (HRD) for smoother opening and closing. Instead of a pressed fit ball bearing, the rolling detent uses a rolling ball bearing. The entire knife was built with a slightly worn look. It's an absolute tank buster. Blade stock is almost a quarter of an inch thick at 3/16. The width, measured across the widest part of the back scale is 1/2". It's weighs almost 10 oz. This knife was made in an era where bigger was better. It's in excellent to near mint overall condition. Seldom every carried, used a handful of times for very light cutting tasks and never sharpened. Blade is centered, I adjusted after I took pic. Absolutely bank vault like lock up with zero play in any direction. No lock stick. Blade shows almost no signs of use. Also very sharp. With the heft of the knife, it almost guides your cutting. No scratches anywhere on handles, pocket clip or hardware. Blade flips out buttery smooth, hard and fast without any need for wrist action at all. Comes with original Hoback leather pouch. IAIZL
