Howdy, BF! Two for sale today, with close-up photos of show side, clip side, centering, and lockup in the album below.
Hoback Husky - SOLD (was $355) - I bought this new from an authorized dealer for $575 believing it was made in the USA, but it was made in China by an undisclosed OEM. I don't like being deceived, and that's the only reason I'm selling it. I'm making sure you are not deceived, and I'm pricing it where I would price a "Reate-tier" knife made in China which I have carried and used lightly. If you look closely you'll see minor signs of carry on the micarta, but apart from that this looks like new. Includes original box, card, and disassembly tools.
The fit, finish, and overall quality are top-notch. I've owned a number of high-end knives made in China, and this is right up there with Reate, WE, and the other top-tier manufacturers. (It feels a lot like the Reate-made Chaves Redencion 229 in construction.) Fantastic flipping action, nearly drops shut, rock-solid lockup, razor sharp factory edge, the dark stonewash is gorgeous, and the machining work is flawless. If the overbuilt design speaks to you, please make my loss your gain.
Demko AD20.5 - SOLD (was $105) - Blade HQ exclusive version, AUS10 steel and jade grivory scales. First owner, carried and lightly used. Factory edge. The Shark Lock is great, and both the thumb stud and the slot work perfectly for slow-rolling and flicking alike. Has mild front-to-back blade play if you look for it (not noticeable during use), which I have not tried to fix, and that's why I'm pricing it well below market value. Includes original box, pouch, and sticker.
PayPal only, "Goods and Services" only, US only (and no proxy shipping). I'm covering USPS shipping and PayPal fees. Questions welcome via PM or profile post.
The first "I'll take it" in this thread followed by a PM (or post on my profile, if you can't send PMs) gets dibs. (Questions, "I'll take it if," and the like aren't the same as claiming a knife.) If I haven't seen your PM/profile post within an hour, I'll assume you changed your mind and the knife will be available to others.
Trade interests: I'm happy to consider trades from paying members only. Please propose trades by PM. My preferences: like new/gently used, street price over $200, no mounting points for the clip on the show side, blade length over 3".
Buyer affirms they're legally permitted to own what they buy. I reserve the right to do business with whomever I choose. Thanks for looking!
