Hobbies

Mine are pretty simple:

Backpacking (very seldom now)
I compete in powerlifting. That takes up most if my time

Well, my hobbies do tend to revolve around sharp things, knife modding takes up most of my free time. When not doing that, I have been know to make a pile of sawdust in my workshop on occasion. I also enjoy my raised bed garden, the occasional Yuengling, and just tinkering with stuff.

Spend most of my time lately in training for upcoming International Mahjong season that starts in August in Seki, Japan.
I have already been contacted by Japan Master Mahjong player Masato Chiba about his tutalege while I am in Japan which is very exciting! I call him Grandfather and he calls me BradleyDumbutt. I like to carve Mahjong tiles from native American materials such as oyster shells, elks teeth, petrified wood, dried woodland animal excriment and old Bakelite Studebaker steering wheels. This helps fund my Mahjong travels and provides productive relaxation while I am staying the chicken coop at my Grandfathers old farm. (We recently ran electric to it so I could work and study at night). The picture is of myself and 2 other Mahjongsters at the Trophy presentation in Brussels last year where I took 3rd place in the 3rd year player, 3 player division. This year I am breaking into the more difficult 4 player game.

Brad's the one in the middle, by the way. Keep up the great work and old Pontiac's have some good bakelite wheels if you ever run out of Studes.

I like photography, play guitar, disc golf, birdwatching, play darts, motorcycling and motorcycle touring, drag racing, knives, I teach concealed carry and use of deadly force classes, like guns, mechanical work, web development and programing and in my spare time I assist on the blimp crew at the United Center for Bulls games, and I like watching Blackhawks games and Bears games.

Other than that - pretty much nothing.

best

Other than knives, I enjoy tinkering with hot metal, deer, coyote and mushroom hunting. Riding four wheelers around the farm is always fun. Recently, I have become obsessed with buying a motorcycle. So after getting my license, I have spent much time doing research and contemplating selling some stuff to fund one.

Also, beer.
