picking a neck knife, i've narrowed it down to 2 - the hobbit fang, and la griffe... i can get a fang för $34, and la griffe for $54... which one of the two is easiest to carry? has the lowest weight? best grip? biggest "intimidation factor" ? hardest to disarm?... or any other factors that might be important that ive forgot about... anyone experienced both? which one would YOU buy?... any difference in the chains used to carry them round the neck? (it's a good thing if it can't be used to choke me...) from the pictures i kinda like the fang more as it looks more of a real knife... the la griffe looks like a box cutter... but then i guess the griffe is harder to disarm which can be a good thing.. hmm not easy to choose.

Chariot- i have them both (and like most around here, about 100 other nifty little tools!)...
both show through very little when carrying. i wear a muscle shirt under whatever i'm wearing and the knife is between the shirts. Good luck finding a Fang- they seem rare nowadays.
I think you can get a Lagriffe cheaper than that from the OneStop knife shop here on the site...
My favorite- definitely the Lagriffe. Fang's got some nice curves to it (you're right- looks more like what you'd expect from a neck knife); but the LaGriffe- not very noticeable, very hard to disarm, small and lightweight as can be. it's definitely my choice if i needed to pick one over the other. and you can wear it on a keychain almost anywhere without being noticed. a lot of people seem to notice the knifes on keychains because of the long thin handles.
