here's a chopper made from recycled leaf spring i found along the r.r. tracks up by my cabin. handles are burlap and red shop rags , also made by myself, (the streaking on the the blade is just oil), but the blade does have a user friendly non glare etched patina.
my tang stamp is on it but just hard to see in the pic
overall is 19 1/2''
width at widest is 2 1/2''
1/4'' thick at butt and 3/16'' at plunge, then on a distal taper to tip.
