Pepsi can stove instruction from pct hiker site. little stove works very well and weigh's almost nothing aprox. one oz. of denatured alcohol will bring a U.S. GI canteen cup to a boil inabout 7 or 8 min. after you make a few of these stoves at home you shuld be able to make one on the trail with just a SAK also make great gifts for your friends who enjoy woods wandering

Those little stoves are awesome. They work great once, like Mike said, you make a few and get the little idiosincrasys down. Here is a little vid I made a while back showing these work, not how to make em.

Is this a "hobo stove"? If so made mine out of a folgers coffee can

That one worked pretty well, the only changes that I would make is to cut more than three vent holes around the top...which is actually the bottom of the can. It probably needed around six vents.
