Any love for this knife? I think it is a neat idea w/ the kit and all. Give me some pix and opinions please.

I haven't used one before but I would imagine the wrap would have a tendency to slip with the knife having such an offest cutting edge. Anybody use one of these before? Perhaps the wrap is done in such a way that it won't.... but I can't tell.

That is exactly what i was thinking...wouldnt that roll around...maybe not tho...

I'll give Mike Fuller the benefit of the doubt... Tops usually makes some good stuff... that would be a big boo-boo for them if it did slip.

Gotcha ;)

I think one of the knife rags had an article on the regular one...guess ill scour the net and see if i can find the article. It's in knives illustrated....anyone got a PDF of the review.....PLEASE?

i scored one of the regular Harpoons a while back... i like it.. i love the design/purpose that these tools fit... i had to re-work the edge a bit.. the factory edge was way steep and it came a bit dull..
i will agree, they're a bit on the expensive side, i scored this one through a group buy over at KF, or else i probably wouldn't have gotten one..

i have not had any issue's with the cord slipping.. it's been taken off and put back on a number of times too...
